Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at Rockway Weighbridge Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales, managing customer relationships, and achieving business targets. This role involves leading sales efforts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

*Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets.

*Identify new markets, customer needs, and business opportunities.

*Develop sales strategies to achieve targets by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

2. Team Leadership:

*Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their performance.

*Provide regular training, feedback, and support to enhance team capabilities.

3. Client Management:

*Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

*Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs

4. Target Acheivement:

*Monitor and drive team performance to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sale

* Ensure timely reporting of sales metrics and performance analysis

5. Market Research and Analysis:

* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

* Use insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

6. Collaboration:

*Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.

* Coordinate with the technical team to address client queries and deliver product demonstrations

Qualifications and Skills:

*Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

*Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing deals.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

* Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development.

* Analytical mindset with proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

* Experience in the weighbridge industry or related technical products is a plus
