Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Business and strategy Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual and quarterly business targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities across Automotive, EV, Electronics, Aerospace, Composites, Renewable Energy, General Manufacturing, and Process Industries.
  • Generate new leads through customer visits, exhibitions, networking, and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for industrial machinery and automation solutions.

Sales & Customer Management

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to order closure.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, machine demonstrations, and product presentations.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts while ensuring profitability.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and key industrial customers.

Market Development

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer requirements.
  • Identify new application areas and business opportunities for existing and new products.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions, seminars, and customer events to promote company offerings.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and channel networks where applicable.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project teams for proposal preparation and project execution.
  • Support project handover from sales to execution teams.
  • Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Sales Reporting & Performance

  • Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and pipeline reviews.
  • Monitor order intake, revenue generation, and sales performance against targets.
  • Maintain CRM records and customer databases.

Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer satisfaction.


Preferred candidate profile


  • 1015 years of experience in Industrial Machinery Sales, Automation Solutions, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Composite Equipment, Dispensing Systems, Robotics, or Engineering Products.
  • Strong understanding of technical sales and industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, and key account management.
  • Experience handling OEMs, Automotive, EV, Electronics, Aerospace, or Manufacturing customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to close high-value technical sales.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and business development activities.
