Role & responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue goals within the transportation sector. (FTL/PTL)
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and cold calling.
Sales Process Management:
Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, utilizing effective negotiation and presentation skills.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Track and report sales performance metrics, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transportation and logistics.

Sales & Negotiation:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Communication & Presentation:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
In-depth knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, including market trends and regulations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CRM systems (like Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
