23 years in CASA / MSME / Retail Assets/Liabilities sales with strong direct sourcing experience

Role Overview

The Sales Manager (SM) will be responsible for direct sourcing of Prime Loan Against Property (LAP) business without intermediary channels such as DSAs. The role involves building a sustainable sourcing engine through own network/database and self-generated business through marketing activities/ digital / ATL/ BTL marketing ensuring end-to-end ownership from lead generation to disbursement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct Sourcing & Lead Generation - Generate leads through own network/database - Conduct marketing and other miscellaneous direct selling activities

2. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management - Build and manage strong MSME customer relationships - Ensure high conversion through effective need understanding and product pitch

3. Application Processing & Conversion - Complete end-to-end application login in LOS - Ensure documentation completeness and accuracy - Coordinate with Credit, Legal, Technical and Ops for approvals and disbursement

4. Performance & Target Achievement - Achieve Prime LAP disbursement and revenue targets - Cross-sell of Insurance Products

5. MIS & Reporting - Maintain daily sales MIS and pipeline tracking - Report performance to RSM and highlight bottlenecks

7. Governance & Compliance - Ensure adherence to policies, KYC norms, and compliance guidelines - Maintain audit-ready documentation and process discipline

Key Skills & Competencies

Demonstrated experience in direct sourcing of customers in CASA / MSME / Retail Asset segments

Proven track record of Field-driven acquisition (shop-to-shop / market visits / relationship-led sourcing)

Good understanding of local business ecosystems, key markets, industrial clusters and high-potential micro-markets

Pre-existing network of MSME customers

Managing self-generated pipelines without dependency on intermediaries

Strong ability to understand business cashflows of MSME customers (traders, manufacturers, service units) and identify credit-worthy profiles through interaction, not just documentation

Experience in handling secured lending (LAP) preferred

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
