About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Marketing professional to drive business growth for the Oncology Division. The incumbent will be responsible for strengthening referral networks, increasing patient footfall, promoting oncology services, and building strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, corporates, and healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to enhance the growth of Oncology Services.
- Generate referrals and business through oncologists, physicians, surgeons, diagnostic centers, and healthcare institutions.
- Identify and develop new referral channels to increase patient acquisition.
- Conduct market mapping and identify growth opportunities within the oncology segment.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with consultants and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient referrals and service delivery.
- Strengthen engagement with corporates, TPAs, insurance companies, and patient support groups.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Plan and execute oncology awareness campaigns, screening camps, CME programs, patient education initiatives, and promotional events.
- Enhance visibility of oncology services through digital and offline marketing activities.
- Represent the organization at medical conferences, healthcare forums, and industry events.
Revenue & Performance Management
- Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets for the Oncology Division.
- Monitor referral trends, patient conversion ratios, and business performance metrics.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, market intelligence reports, and business forecasts.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with Oncology Consultants, Operations, Clinical Teams, and Marketing departments to drive service growth.
- Ensure timely resolution of patient and referral partner concerns.
- Support the launch of new oncology programs and specialized treatment services.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing/Healthcare Management preferred.
Experience & Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, or Referral Marketing within Hospitals, Cancer Care Centers, Oncology Services, or Pharmaceutical organizations.
- Exposure to Oncology, Specialty Care, or High-Value Clinical Services will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks and patient acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop growth strategies.
