Position Title - Sr Exec/ Manager / Sr Manager Membership & Industry Engagement

ROLE PURPOSE & MANDATE
The Sr. Exec /Manager / Senior Manager Membership & Industry Engagement is ISF's frontline growth driver. The incumbent is responsible for expanding ISF's membership base by identifying, pitching, and onboarding staffing companies of all sizes from large pan-India operators to regional and emerging staffing firms. Beyond acquisition, the role encompasses the full member lifecycle: engagement, retention, value delivery, and advocacy linkage. This is a high-visibility, relationship-intensive role that sits at the intersection of business development, stakeholder management, and industry advocacy.
The ideal candidate understands the staffing sector, speaks the language of HR and compliance, and can articulate ISF's value proposition compellingly to C-suite stakeholders of prospective member companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. MEMBERSHIP ACQUISITION & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective member companies spanning general staffing, IT staffing, industrial, healthcare, and gig workforce segments.
- Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to staffing firms across metro and Tier-2 cities; identify decision-makers (Founders, CEOs, CHROs) and secure introductory meetings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling membership pitch presentations, customising value propositions to the size, segment, and regulatory needs of each prospect.
- Convert leads to enrolled members; manage the end-to-end onboarding process including documentation, KYC, fee collection, and welcome communication.
- Attend and represent ISF at industry conferences, HR summits, and EPFO/ESIC stakeholder forums to generate membership leads.
B. MEMBER ENGAGEMENT & RETENTION
- Maintain active relationships with all current ISF members; serve as their primary point of contact for all federation matters.
- Drive annual membership renewal cycle with targeted outreach 60 days before expiry; achieve 85% renewal rate.
- Develop and execute a structured member engagement calendar including webinars, roundtables, policy briefings, and peer networking events.
- Issue monthly Member Bulletins covering regulatory updates (Labour Codes, EPFO circulars, minimum wages, GST changes) relevant to staffing companies.
- Conduct annual member satisfaction surveys; analyse findings and recommend improvements to ISF's service offering.
C. POLICY LINKAGE & ADVOCACY SUPPORT
- Brief members on key policy developments four Labour Codes, NAPS/NATS apprenticeship frameworks, PM-VBRY (ELI scheme), GST on manpower outsourcing, and EPFO/ESIC updates.
- Collect member data, compliance challenges, and industry feedback to feed into ISF's policy submissions and representation letters to ministries.
- Coordinate member participation in ISF's representation, industry surveys, and government consultations.
D. DATABASE, REPORTING & ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM / member database with contact details, renewal timelines, segment classification, and engagement history.
- Prepare monthly membership dashboards showing acquisition pipeline, renewal status, revenue, and segment coverage.
- Manage membership fee invoicing, payment follow-ups, and receipts in coordination with accounts.
- Support the ED in preparing membership reports for ISF Board meetings and Annual General Meetings.
