Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to handle Sales, marketing and prescription activities related to products within the defined industry segment for PAN India. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the select market segment. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment.

This role is contributing to the ABB India, Electrification Business Installation Products in India. will be based at Pune - India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Business & Sales Leadership: Manage business growth and sales budgets for the Automobile and Heavy Duty Equipment segment, with regional responsibility for ABB Installation Products, including Cable Protection Systems and Wire & Cable Management Systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and external influencers to capture new business opportunities and enhance ABB s market presence.
- Market Intelligence & Standards Knowledge: Conduct benchmarking, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments while providing knowledgeable guidance on international and local standards and codes for ABB products.
- Sales Execution & Customer Satisfaction: Perform market visits, acquire new customers, resolve issues, communicate commercial terms, and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Collaboration, Marketing & Reporting: Promote cross-division knowledge sharing, execute marketing activities to articulate ABB s value proposition, identify new market opportunities, and provide regular performance reports with actionable insights to management.
Qualifications for the role:
- Education & Experience: BE in Electrical & Electronics with 8 15 years of experience in the switchgear industry.
- Product & Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of ABB Installation Products and customer requirements.
- Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated leadership through effective strategic business development and growth initiatives.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Skilled in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Skilled written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Methodical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient methodical capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, make informed decisions, and resolve challenges.
- Digital & Commercial Acumen: Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, social media, and online advertising to support strategic commercial objectives and business growth.
