Key Responsibilities
:
Lead and drive the overall sales strategy for copper scrap across domestic and international markets to achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets.
Develop and manage key accounts including smelters, recyclers, wire cable manufacturers, foundries, and large scrap traders.
Oversee pricing strategy linked to LME copper prices, scrap grades, recovery yields, and market dynamics.
Build and expand supplier and customer networks; identify new sourcing channels and high-value customers.
Lead negotiations for long-term contracts, bulk deals, and strategic partnerships.
Monitor market intelligence, global copper trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory changes impacting scrap trade.
Drive expansion into new regions, export markets, and value-added scrap categories.
Prepare annual business plans, sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports for senior management.
Other Responsibilities
:
Requires frequent traveling to multiple National/International locations.
Q ualification
:
Bachelors or masters degree in chemical / metallurgical / mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Candidates from IITs, IIMs, or other premium institutes will be preferred.
Experience
:
Minimum 15 20 years relevant experience of Sales, preferably Copper sales.
