Job Summary:
Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team and managing all commercial operations within their assigned branch territory. The main objective is to meet or exceed regional sales targets, manage product margins, and enhance market penetration. This position involves a balance of intensive coaching for the local sales team and hands-on participation in closing deals with key accounts (contractors, ready-mix concrete operators, and infrastructure developers)

• Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement localized territory sales plans to achieve annual, quarterly, and product-specific budgets for equipment and machinery.
• Team Leadership & Coaching
Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Engineers and Assistant Managers. This includes tracking performance metrics and managing PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans) if quotas are missed.
• Key Account Management
Directly cultivate face-to-face relationships with major infrastructure players, handling high-stakes contract negotiations, commercial offers, and deal closures.
• Financial & Receivable Control
Oversee territory profit margins and handle receivable management (ensuring timely payments and credit control to protect branch cash flow).
• Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and local industry trends to proactively identify new project pipelines and territory opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with the after-sales service and spares departments to leverage equipment health audits, maximizing customer satisfaction and aftermarket sales.
• MIS Report
Prepare monthly and fortnightly reports as required by the management, ensure proper update of CRM by sales team.
