Position: Sales Manager Business LAP
Department: Sales
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Branch Manager


Role Purpose

The Sales Manager Business LAP will be responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing Loan Against Property (LAP) business through direct channels, connectors, DSAs, and market sourcing. The role involves achieving disbursement targets, maintaining portfolio quality, and building strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive LAP business sourcing and achieve monthly disbursement targets.
  • Generate leads through self-sourcing, connectors, DSAs, CA networks, and referrals.
  • Identify and acquire self-employed and business customers requiring LAP solutions.
  • Conduct customer meetings, understand financial requirements, and provide suitable lending solutions.
  • Perform preliminary credit assessment and ensure complete documentation.
  • Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Legal, and Technical teams for smooth loan processing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance guidelines, and underwriting norms.
  • Monitor the local market, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Maintain portfolio quality and support collections whenever required.
  • Ensure timely customer servicing and query resolution.

Eligibility

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 2–8 years of experience in Loan Against Property (LAP), Mortgage Loans, SME Loans, or related secured lending products.
  • Strong understanding of LAP sourcing, underwriting basics, and market dynamics.
  • Experience in handling direct sales and channel partner networks.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
