About the Role


Senior Sales Manager Automotive (Cars & CV)


We are hiring a Senior Sales Manager Automotive (Cars & CV) for our Tech Solutions Division to drive OEM and Dealer revenue across Cars and Commercial Vehicles. We are looking for a commercially sharp Sales Manager who has sold technology products or services into the Indian automotive industry to OEMs, dealer groups, or automotive corporates. You will own the end-to-end revenue cycle for our Cars and CV portfolio, managing relationships with accounts including Honda, Ford, Mahindra, Renault, and Ashok Leyland, while identifying AI upsell opportunities within the auto ecosystem


What you will do:


Revenue Growth: Own and grow revenue for the Cars & CV cluster, managing a portfolio of OEM and dealer accounts.


Business Development: Run structured BD processes prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and closure


Upsell Strategy: Identify and execute AI product upsell opportunities within existing automotive accounts


Solutioning: Collaborate with pre-sales and product teams to craft solution proposals tailored to OEM requirements.


Pipeline Management: Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasts to leadership


Stakeholder Representation: Represent CarDekho Tech Solutions in CXO-level meetings and industry forums


Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity and market trends in automotive tech to sharpen positioning.


Requirements:


5-10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into the Indian automotive industry (OEMs, dealer networks, or automotive corporates)


Proven track record of closing Rs 2 Cr+ annual deals with automotive clients.


Strong understanding of the OEM-dealer ecosystem, automotive buying cycles, and tech adoption patterns.


Experience working with CXO / VP-level stakeholders at automotive companies.


Excellent communication, presentation, and commercial negotiation skills.


Good to have skills :


Familiarity with SaaS, AI, or data products sold to the auto sector.


Existing relationships with decision-makers at Cars and Commercial Vehicles OEMs.


Understanding of Lead Management Systems (LMS), dealer websites, or CRM/DMS platforms.
