Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and develop new customers in manufacturing units, workshops, and construction sites
• Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, and references
• Build strong pipeline in Chennai industrial areas

Field Sales Execution

• Daily visits to factories, workshops, and industrial clients
• Meet Purchase Managers, Maintenance Heads, and Workshop In-charges
• Understand tooling requirements and recommend suitable hand tools
• Demonstrate product usage and benefits

Sales & Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly sales targets for hand tools and related products
• Prepare quotations and follow up for order closure
• Negotiate pricing and ensure order conversion

Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with industrial clients
• Ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
• Support dealer/distributor development if required

Market Intelligence

• Track competitor products and pricing
• Identify demand trends for tools and industrial supplies
• Provide feedback to reporting manager

Candidate Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in B2B field sales
• Preferably from:
• Hand Tools / Hardware / Industrial Tools
• MRO / Industrial Consumables
• Engineering or Mechanical products
• Basic knowledge of hand tools is highly preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Target-driven and self-motivated
• Willing to travel across Chennai
• Two-wheeler mandatory

Qualification

• Any Graduate
• Diploma / Engineering background preferred
