About the Role


We are looking for a motivated and target-driven Sales Officer to support business growth across petroleum and energy products. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on sales experience and strong execution capability, who are eager to build a career in B2C/industrial sales. You will be responsible for driving field sales, building client relationships, and contributing directly to revenue generation.



Role & responsibilities


1. Sales Execution & Target Achievement


  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Drive new client acquisition and expand existing customer relationships
  • Execute end-to-end sales activities including lead generation, meetings, and closures

2. Client & Market Development


  • Identify potential customers across industrial, commercial, and institutional segments
  • Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and end clients
  • Conduct market visits to generate leads and understand customer requirements

3. Product Sales & Business Growth


  • Promote and sell petroleum products, fuels, lubricants, or related offerings
  • Support expansion of distribution networks and sales channels
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities

4. Reporting & Coordination


  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and market feedback
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, supply chain) for order fulfilment

5. Compliance & Process Adherence


  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and compliance standards
  • Follow industry norms related to safety and operations (HSE awareness)


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 25 years of mandatory experience in sales roles (non-sales profiles will not be considered)
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Experience in field sales / B2C / industrial sales environments
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in a target-driven environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in petroleum / oil & gas / lubricants industry
  • Exposure to dealer/distributor networks or bulk sales
  • Familiarity with industrial clients and local market dynamics
  • Experience with top tier companies is preferred
