Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase revenue, market share, and customer penetration across assigned territories.
  • Proactively engage with prospective and existing customers on a regular basis to generate and convert sales opportunities.
  • Follow up diligently on leads generated through incoming inquiries, trade shows, and other promotional channels.
  • Encourage existing and potential customers to provide opportunities to quote on products they currently source elsewhere.
  • Conduct market research to assess competitor positioning, market share, and competitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Nurture and sustain strong relationships with key accounts through regular interactions, understanding their specific needs, and anticipating future requirements.
  • Monitor and stay informed of emerging market trends, industry developments, and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (production, logistics, quality, accounts) and maintain seamless communication with external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry conferences, and relevant professional forums.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales, inquiry and collection targets
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts as required by management.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development or Customer Relationship Management. B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and Hindi.
  • Independent thinker with sound problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and follow-up skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-driven, and motivated to grow within the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.
