Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Lead Conversion: Engage with potential learners over the phone or Zoom to explain available courses and convert leads into enrolments.
- Consultative Sales: Understand the career goals and qualification needs of the learner to recommend appropriate training solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Follow up with prospects systematically to move them through the sales funnel.
- CRM Management: Accurately update and maintain lead status and call notes in CRM systems.
- Performance Focus: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly enrolment targets.
- Relationship Building: Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with learners to build trust and credibility.
- Reporting: Provide daily/weekly reports to management regarding leads, conversions, and performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to ensure smooth learner onboarding.
- B2C & B2B Sales: Handle both individual (B2C) and corporate/organisational (B2B) sales opportunities, adapting approach to suit each segment and maximise enrolments across both channels.
Preferred candidate profile
- Fluent English with a clear, proper accent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in telesales, consultative sales, or education sales preferred. (Must have worked with UK based clients before)
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Must be target-oriented and driven by performance incentives.
- Excellent Zoom/telephone etiquette and confidence in delivering engaging virtual consultations.
- Ability to work flexible hours aligned to the London time zone (typically 1:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity in using CRM systems, Zoom, and spreadsheets.
- Must be highly adaptive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualities:
- Prior experience working with UK-based clients or in UK education services.
- A proactive mindset, able to handle objections and adapt the sales pitch accordingly.
