A Sales Executive in the packaging industry drives B2B revenue by acquiring new corporate accounts, managing existing client relationships, and selling customized packaging solutions. The role requires local market travel, techno-commercial knowledge of packaging materials, and the ability to meet sales targets.]


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities across target sectors
  • Client Consultation: Conduct site visits, understand specific client requirements, and recommend suitable, cost-effective packaging solutions. [1, 2]
  • Deal Closure: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and supply contracts to achieve and exceed revenue targets. [1]
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the production, design, and operations teams to ensure smooth artwork/sample approvals and timely delivery. [1, 2]
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging demands (like eco-friendly/sustainable packaging). [1, 2]

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Typically 24+ years in B2B industrial sales, ideally directly in printing and packaging solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. for packaging machinery sales.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, techno-commercial acumen, and the ability to manage long sales cycles.
