Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, expanding market reach, and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and institutional customers. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring product availability, increasing brand visibility, and supporting the company's business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, supermarkets, wholesalers, and key accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across assigned territories.
  • Promote new products, festive gift packs, and seasonal offerings.
  • Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collect orders and coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Follow up on payments and ensure collections are made within the agreed credit period.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Execute merchandising and in-store promotional activities.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, market feedback reports, and visit plans.
  • Coordinate with production and inventory teams to ensure product availability.
  • Participate in exhibitions, food festivals, and promotional events when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and collections.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Diploma holders with relevant sales experience may also apply.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of sales experience in the sweets, FMCG, food & beverage, bakery, confectionery, or retail industry.
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may be considered for junior roles.
