Role & responsibilities
1 Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify new business opportunities through field visits, client meetings, and networking with industrial customers.
2 Customer Requirement Analysis
Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions involving PLC, SCADA, IoT, LT Panels, HT/MV Panels, and automation systems.
3 Technical Presentations & Solution Selling
Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions to promote Siemens, Schneider, and company solutions.
4 Inquiry Management & Customer Response
Review and respond to customer inquiries promptly for trading, service, and project requirements.
5 Quotation Preparation & Cost Estimation
Prepare competitive quotations by coordinating with engineering, service, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
6 Vendor Coordination & Commercial Negotiation
Liaise with Siemens, Schneider, and other suppliers for pricing support, discounts, and technical clarifications.
7 Sales Follow-up & Order Conversion
Track quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert inquiries into confirmed sales orders.
8 Order Processing & ERP Management
Verify customer purchase orders, process orders in ERP, and coordinate with internal departments for execution.
9 Project & Service Coordination
Initiate project kick-off activities, coordinate service requests, and ensure smooth execution through cross-functional teams.
10 Delivery, Payment Collection & Customer Support
Monitor order fulfillment, track project progress, resolve customer issues, and ensure timely payment collection.
11 Cost Control & Project Monitoring
Monitor project costs and execution activities to maintain profitability and prevent cost overruns.
12 Customer Relationship Management
Develop long-term customer relationships to secure repeat business, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
Preferred candidate profile
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Process Control, Electrical Automation, or OEM Sales.
- Good understanding of PLC, SCADA, HMI, Drives, Instrumentation, and Automation Solutions.
- Experience in handling OEM customers and industrial accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach.
- Experience with Siemens products and solutions will be preferred.
- Candidates currently working with Siemens System Houses will have an added advantage.
