Position: Medical Representative
HQ: Lucknow
Division: Critical Care & General Medicine
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager
Job Objective
To promote OBMED Pharma’s Critical Care and General Medicine portfolio among physicians, intensivists, anesthetists, surgeons, and hospital-based healthcare professionals in Lucknow territory, ensuring prescription growth, product availability, and achievement of sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Doctor & Hospital Promotion
- Conduct regular scientific product detailing with:
- Intensivists
- Anesthesiologists
- Physicians
- Surgeons
- Emergency Care Specialists
- Hospital Consultants
- Promote Critical Care and General Medicine products ethically.
- Develop strong professional relationships with key doctors and institutions.
2. Critical Care Business Development
Focus on:
- ICU departments
- Emergency departments
- Operation theatres
- Nursing homes
- Multi-speciality hospitals
Product category exposure:
- Anaesthesia products
- Antibiotics
- Injectable therapies
- Pain management
- Emergency medicines
- ICU supportive care products
3. General Medicine Promotion
Doctor coverage:
- General Physicians
- Consulting Physicians
- Diabetologists
- Cardiologists
- Gastroenterologists
Activities:
- Generate prescriptions
- Improve brand visibility
- Increase patient reach through effective doctor engagement
Territory Management – Lucknow HQ
Daily Activities:
- 10–12 effective doctor calls/day
- Hospital and clinic coverage
- Chemist and stockist coordination
- Prescription tracking
Monthly Activities:
- Achieve assigned sales target
- Add new doctors and institutions
- Conduct product campaigns
- Submit market feedback
Qualification
Preferred:
- B.Pharm
- D.Pharm
- B.Sc
- Graduate candidates with pharmaceutical sales experience
Experience:
- Freshers can apply
- 1–3 years experience in Critical Care / General Medicine preferred
