Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Development

  • Identify potential learners from relevant databases and counsel them toward enrollment.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed monthly targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, student needs, and competitor activity.

2. Product Knowledge

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all courses and services offered by the company.
  • Stay updated on educational standards, global teaching methodologies, and market developments.

3. Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales activities, student interactions, and pipeline stages using CRM software.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas requiring improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to the management team.

4. Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the content development team to share student feedback and suggest course improvements.

5. Training & Development

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to sharpen product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Share insights and best practices within the team to enhance overall performance.

Counseling & Student Engagement Insights

Understanding Student Needs

  • Engage students with open-ended questions to understand their goals, interests, and challenges.
  • Tailor counselling based on their academic aspirations and career plans.

Highlighting Course Benefits

  • Clearly communicate the unique features and advantages of each course.
  • Explain how the programs align with the students personal and professional goals.

Addressing Concerns

  • Confidently handle common objections related to cost, time, or relevance.
  • Provide guidance on flexible schedules, financial support, and practical course outcomes.

Using Success Stories

  • Share testimonials and case studies from successful alumni to build trust and credibility.

Follow-Up

  • Maintain regular follow-up communication to nurture interest and address pending queries.

Relationship Building

  • Build rapport and long-term relationships with students.
  • Demonstrate genuine interest in their growth, success, and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of the education market and learner behaviour.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and driven to achieve results.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in education-based sales or academic counselling.
  • Knowledge of curriculum standards and global education practices.
  • Prior experience in a consultative or solution-based sales role.
