Job Summary
The Diagnostic Sales Team is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling diagnostic services, laboratory tests, imaging solutions, and diagnostic equipment to healthcare providers. The role focuses on building strong professional relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, laboratories, corporate clients, and healthcare institutions, while ensuring ethical selling practices and strict compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Promote diagnostic tests, packages, and services to physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
- Increase test volumes and market share within the assigned territory.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pathologists, radiologists, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals to communicate diagnostic offerings and value propositions.
- Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and sustain long-term partnerships through consistent engagement and follow-ups.
3. Product & Service Knowledge
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of diagnostic tests, panels, technologies, equipment, and their clinical applications.
- Educate clients on test methodologies, turnaround time (TAT), accuracy, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on new diagnostic products, medical guidelines, and competitor offerings.
4. Market Development & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans and growth strategies.
- Identify high-potential accounts and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Support new test launches, promotional campaigns, and awareness initiatives.
5. Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with laboratory operations, logistics, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Share customer feedback with internal stakeholders for continuous service improvement.
- Work closely with medical affairs or technical teams for scientific and clinical discussions, as required.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipelines using CRM systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as test volumes, revenue growth, client acquisition, and retention rates.
7. Compliance & Ethics
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, ethical marketing practices, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and client information at all times.
- Promote diagnostic services responsibly without misleading or non-compliant claims.
