Job Description
1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Building
- Conduct daily field visits to prospect customers.
- Generate leads through cold calling, walk-ins, field networking, and local events.
- Identify potential accounts in SMB and mid-market segments.
- Maintain and update lead database (CRM discipline).
2. Channel Ecosystem Development
- Identify and onboard regional resellers / local IT partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners for deal flow.
- Support partners with product information, pricing coordination, and sales materials.
- Ensure clean deal registration and channel compliance.
3. Sales Execution & Target Achievement
- Deliver product presentations and basic demos (training will be provided).
- Understand customer requirements and position the right solution.
- Support the sales cycle until closure, in coordination with senior sales team.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activities and pricing in the region.
- Identify new market opportunities and provide feedback to leadership.
- Prepare weekly activity reports, pipeline updates, and visit summaries.
5. Customer Engagement
- Conduct customer site visits to gather requirements.
- Ensure proper follow-up and engagement to convert leads.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support renewals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any graduate (BBA/B.Com/B.Tech/BSc) MBA preferred but not mandatory
- 0 to 3 years of experience in field sales / business development
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with extensive travel
- Basic understanding of IT/software sales is a plus
- Fluency in local language + Hindi/English
