Job Summary
Seven Seas Hotel Banquet is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and customer-focused Sales Executive/Sales Manager to drive banquet and event sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers and personal networking.
- Identify potential clients and develop strategies to increase banquet and event bookings.
- Conduct site inspections and venue presentations for prospective clients.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and event packages based on client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close sales while maintaining profitability.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Coordinate with Operations, Banquet, Kitchen, Finance, and Event teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and sales reports systems.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and promotional activities to generate business leads.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure timely collection of advance payments and required documentation from clients.
- Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports and revenue forecasts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Sales Executive: 1-3 years of experience in banquet, hotel, hospitality, or event sales.
- Sales Manager: 4-8 years of relevant experience with a proven sales track record.
