Role Overview
The Sales Executive FMCG will be responsible for driving sales, market coverage, retail expansion, and distributor servicing for the company's FMCG product portfolio (excluding bread, bun, and pav) in the assigned territory. The role involves ensuring product availability, outlet addition, secondary sales growth, and effective market execution through distributors and retailers.
Role & responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets assigned for the territory.
- Drive primary and secondary sales growth.
- Expand retail coverage and increase outlet additions.
- Ensure product availability in all targeted outlets.
- Coordinate with distributors for order generation and market servicing.
- Maintain strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers.
- Ensure proper stock availability at distributor points.
- Execute trade schemes and promotional activities effectively.
- Ensure product visibility and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits and beat coverage.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential retail outlets.
- Increase numeric distribution and market penetration.
- Support new product launches in the territory.
- Maintain daily sales reports and market feedback.
- Support timely collection and outstanding control.
- Share competitor activities and market intelligence with ASM.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2-5 years of experience in FMCG Food Sales.
- Experience in General Trade (GT) and distributor handling preferred.
- Exposure to bakery, snacks, packaged foods, biscuits, confectionery, or FMCG products preferred. Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/Marketing preferred (not mandatory).
