Job Description
Role Overview The Cloud Sales Executive will be responsible for building cloud sales opportunities for AWS and Microsoft Azure services and subscriptions. The role includes lead generation, customer engagement, opportunity management, partner portal operations, billing and renewal coordination, and account growth activities.
Key Responsibilities
a) Sales & Business Development Identify and engage potential customers for AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud solutions through outbound and inbound channels. Qualify leads, understand customer requirements, and recommend suitable cloud solutions. Conduct initial sales discussions and coordinate solution demos and technical meetings. Build and manage a personal sales pipeline and achieve assigned targets.
b) Partner & Reseller Operations Register and track opportunities in AWS Partner Central and Microsoft Partner Center. Participate in customer onboarding, account setup / linking, and subscription activation. Track cloud subscriptions, billing cycles, renewals, and consumption trends. Coordinate pricing, quotations, and commercial documentation with internal teams.
c) Account Management & Growth Build long-term relationships with assigned accounts and act as a trusted cloud advisor. Drive renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities for cloud services and managed services. Monitor customer satisfaction and identify account expansion opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate / Post-graduate in MBA (Marketing / Sales / IT / Systems) and Computer Science and IT. Strong interest in Cloud Computing, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and B2B Technology Sales. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn cloud technologies, partner programs, and enterprise sales processes. Basic understanding of cloud, servers, networking, or virtualization. Internship or academic exposure to IT, cloud, or software sales is a plus.
