Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator (Assistant to Sales Head) will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Sales Head while ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities across the organization. The role involves managing sales reports, coordinating with regional sales teams, dealers, distributors, service, warehouse, logistics, and accounts departments, tracking business performance, and ensuring timely execution of key sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support to Sales Head
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Sales Head.
- Manage the Sales Head's calendar, meetings, travel plans, and appointments.
- Prepare presentations, reports, business reviews, and meeting minutes.
- Follow up on action items assigned by the Sales Head.
- Maintain confidentiality of business information and reports.
Sales Coordination
- Coordinate daily activities with Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Officers.
- Track sales targets and monitor achievement against business plans.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Coordinate sales meetings and circulate MOMs (Minutes of Meeting).
- Assist in implementing sales strategies and promotional activities.
Dealer & Customer Coordination
- Coordinate with dealers, distributors, and franchise partners regarding order status, schemes, pricing, and documentation.
- Handle customer enquiries and escalate issues to the concerned departments.
- Maintain healthy relationships with channel partners.
Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Service, Purchase, Finance, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
- Follow up on pending deliveries, stock availability, payments, invoices, and service requests.
- Ensure timely resolution of operational issues affecting sales.
ERP & MIS Management
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records in ERP/CRM.
- Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and business analytics.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance summaries.
- Ensure timely updating of customer data and order status.
Documentation
- Maintain quotations, purchase orders, agreements, price lists, and sales documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and document management.
- Prepare business correspondence, letters, and presentations.
Required Skills
