SailPoint Consultant (Level 7.x)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Consultant (Level 7.x) with strong hands-on expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skills in SailPoint development, configuration, application onboarding, and integration. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities are essential, as this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and configure SailPoint IdentityIQ / SailPoint Cloud components.
- Perform application onboarding, connector setup, aggregation, provisioning, and certification configurations.
- Develop and customize SailPoint workflows, rules, forms, tasks, and policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM/IGA issues across SailPoint modules.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and application owners to understand and translate requirements.
- Support integrations with target systems via delimited files, JDBC, REST APIs, and other connectors.
- Conduct unit testing, support SIT/UAT cycles, and assist in production deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation, design diagrams, and operational guides.
- Ensure compliance with identity governance standards, including SoD policies and certification processes.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders and communicate technical solutions clearly.
Required Skills & Experience
-8-12+ years of experience in IAM/IGA with at least 4+ years in SailPoint.
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) or SailPoint Cloud (SaaS).
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, roles, entitlements, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Experience in SailPoint workflow development, Beanshell scripting, connector configuration, and custom rules.
- Good knowledge of Java, XML, SQL, and directory services (AD/LDAP).
- Experience in application onboarding for enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Background in Agile methodologies and participation in end-to-end project delivery.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cloud IAM technologies (Azure AD, Okta, Ping).
- Knowledge of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Experience handling large-scale identity governance programs.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- SailPoint certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
