Sailpoint Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Develop and enhance SailPoint workflows, rules, connectors, and integrations based on business requirements.
• Build and maintain Java-based customizations and integrations within the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and IAM-related issues with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, application owners, and infrastructure teams, to deliver IAM solutions.
• Support code deployment activities and ensure adherence to established release management processes.
• Work within Agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and IAM best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process and technical enhancements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (preferably version 7.2P2 or later).
• Strong programming skills in Java with experience developing custom IAM solutions.
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts, including user lifecycle management, provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with CA SiteMinder and its integration within enterprise IAM environments.
• Knowledge of code deployment, release management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with additional IAM platforms or tools will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
