Safety Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for chemical manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Process Safety Management Systems (PSM).
• Provide training on safety best practices to employees.
• Implement safety management systems like PTW, PHA, and HAZOP.
• Analyze incidents and develop corrective actions plans to prevent future occurrences.

Job Requirements :

• 15-25 years of experience as a Safety Specialist or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PSM principles, PHA/PHAs analysis, HIRA methodologies, and relevant regulations.
• Proven ability to develop effective safety programs that improve incident rates.
• Experience with safety management systems like PSM, TWT, and HAZOP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
