Safety Officer Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and implement HSE policies and procedures across project sites.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop and monitor project-specific HSE plans, emergency response plans, and safety procedures.
• Identify hazards and implement effective preventive and corrective measures.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor work permits for high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting, excavation, confined space, hot work, and electrical work.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and statutory records.
• Monitor safety performance through KPIs and recommend improvements.
• Lead and mentor the site safety team across multiple projects.
• Ensure emergency preparedness through mock drills and evacuation exercises.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams.
