Safety Officer

Preferred Candidate Profile Safety Officer (Building Construction)

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline.
• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Building Construction Projects (Residential, Commercial, High-rise, Institutional, or Industrial Buildings).
• Good knowledge of construction safety standards, labour laws, and statutory HSE requirements.
• Experience in managing safety for high-risk activities such as:
• Work at Height
• Scaffolding Safety
• Excavation Safety
• Formwork & Shuttering
• Reinforcement & Concreting Activities
• Lifting Operations & Crane Safety
• Electrical Safety
• Hot Work & Confined Space Entry
• Ability to conduct Safety Induction, Toolbox Talks (TBT), and daily safety inspections.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA), and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with PPE compliance, emergency response, firefighting equipment, and first aid.
• Good communication, leadership, and report preparation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid, or Fire Safety certification will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work at project sites and relocate as per project requirements.
