Ruby on Rails Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to architect scalable end-to-end solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the entire development process, strong proficiency in Ruby, OOP, and the Rails MVC framework. Key areas of expertise include RESTful APIs, background job processing, CI/CD, AWS, application security, and various testing frameworks. Familiarity with SQL databases and modern front-end technologies is also important.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven track record of successfully architecting scalable end-to-end solutions.
• Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
• Deep understanding of the entire development process (design, development, deployment, and monitoring).
• Solid understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience in the Healthcare domain would be an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency with Rails conventions and MVC framework including ActiveRecord, ActiveSupport, Action Cable and Action Mailer.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, familiarity with API versioning, rate limiting and documetation.
• Hands-on experience with background job processing, caching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud platform, and application security.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks, such as RSpec or Minitest.
• Experience with SQL and database management (e.g., PostgreSQL (Preferred), MySQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., Ember.js (Preferred), React, Vue.js, Next.js).

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
