RTOS/Baremetal Embedded Software Developer

Position: RTOS / Bare-Metal Embedded Software Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented RTOS / Bare-Metal Embedded Software Developer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for resource-constrained embedded systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C programming, microcontroller-based development, real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and low-level hardware interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware using C for microcontroller-based systems.
• Develop software for RTOS and Bare-Metal environments.
• Implement device drivers and Board Support Package (BSP) components.
• Develop and optimize real-time applications with strict timing requirements.
• Interface with peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, ADC, PWM, GPIO, and Timers.
• Debug hardware-software integration issues.
• Analyze CPU, memory, and power utilization to optimize system performance.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system validation.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, and system engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ARM Cortex-M/A/R processors
• Knowledge of STM32, NXP, TI, Renesas, Infineon, Nordic, or Microchip platforms
• Familiarity with Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C)
• Experience with Secure Boot and Firmware Security
• Knowledge of Embedded Linux (added advantage)
• Exposure to AUTOSAR, Industrial Automation, IoT, Medical, or Consumer Electronics products
