Roles & Responsibilities
- Spearhead verification strategy, testbench architecture, and coverage closure
- Define comprehensive verification plans for complex SoC blocks.
- Mentor junior and senior verification engineers and guide technical execution.
- Lead the verification strategy and architecture for complex SoC/IP blocks.
- Define comprehensive verification plans, methodologies, and coverage goals.
- Develop and maintain advanced UVM/SystemVerilog-based verification environments.
- Drive functional, code, assertion, and toggle coverage closure.
- Review RTL specifications and identify verification requirements, corner cases, and test scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with RTL design, architecture, firmware, and validation teams to resolve functional issues.
- Lead debug of simulation failures and root-cause functional bugs.
- Mentor and technically guide verification engineers across multiple experience levels.
- Drive verification best practices, coding standards, and automation initiatives.
- Participate in design and verification reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project planning, effort estimation, and execution to meet quality and schedule objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 15 years of experience in RTL/SoC verification.
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Hands-on experience with constrained random verification, assertions (SVA), and functional coverage.
- Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, RTL design flow, and SoC architecture.
- Experience verifying complex IPs such as interconnects, memory controllers, DMA, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, or similar protocols.
- Expertise with industry-standard simulators such as VCS, Xcelium, or QuestaSim.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell for automation.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
