Role & Responsibilities:
This role is for an Associate level candidate to support the RMG C O O/Head of RMRO in carrying out responsibilities to support RMG s Risk Model Governance and Control . The candidate will be tasked with taking the lead on several areas within the RMRO space.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Operation Management:
- Maintain and update headcount list and organisational charts and inter-departmental/Legal Entity SLAs
- Oversee onboarding for new joiners and contractors, ensuring system access, IT setup, and business integration.
- Lead specific departmental initiatives (e.g., newsletter , EDL, confluence, efficiency improvements)
- Provide project management support
- Coordinat e internal training programme
Governance and Reporting:
- Assi st with r egulatory and internal meeting s and coordination of submissions , including compiling materials, tracking actions, and taking notes
- Provide status updates to key RMG members and Global Risk Forums, including Policies & Procedures, RCSA Actions and Audit Actions
- Maintain, update, and back up RMG Dashboard to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Deliver BAU and ad-hoc reporting, including design proposals for new reporting
- Represent RMG in internal governance and risk forums (e.g. EUC Working Group, Global Risk Operat ing F orum, Security Framework Working Group ).
Control and Monitoring:
- Execute monthly , quarterly , and annual control and monitoring processes owned by RMG, including BAU monitoring, RCSA, Model Changes, and Policies & Procedures
- Coordinate and maintain RMG s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) register, ensuring risks and controls are accurately captured
- Track regulatory deliverables and commitments

- Minimum of 5 years work experience in large-scale financial services institutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Strong understanding of Risk and Control activities
- Willingness to work in UK time zone, occasionally accommodating flexible hours for global team meetings or urgent requests.
- Strong MS Office skills Able to work with data sets in Excel and produce good quality visual presentations in PowerPoint
- Skilled in usage and knowledge of MS SharePoint and Power BI
- Prior experience in Operational Risk Management
- Prior experience in Project Management.
- Prior experience of performing RCSA for Risk function would be a strong plus.
