Retail Operations Manager

Job Requirements

Scope of the role -

Responsible for driving store performance, operational excellence, and sales growth

across the retail network through process standardization, digital enablement, and

data-driven decision-making

2. Job Profile & Key Deliverables

Retail Operations & Transformation

• Drive retail excellence initiatives to improve store productivity and

operational efficiency

• Monitor store performance through audits, SOP adherence, and defined KPIs

• Standardize processes to ensure consistent execution across all stores

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive revenue contribution through CRM, loyalty programs, and alternate

sales channels

• Lead in-store and retail marketing initiatives to improve conversion and sales

performance

• Build and scale alternate sales channels such as Shoppers Stop, Try@home,

Pop-ups

Digital & CRM

• Drive adoption and effective usage of CRM and retail technology platforms

• Identify system gaps and collaborate with tech teams to implement

enhancements

• Leverage data and dashboards for performance tracking and decision-making

• Drive digital platforms like Salesforce, Wooqer, Salesbuddy & drive new tech

interventions for the team

Planning & Commercials

• Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and annual business planning

• Plan and execute promotions, seasonal campaigns, and in-store activations

• Track performance against targets and drive corrective actions

People & Capability Development

• Drive frontline productivity through incentive programs and performance

management

Work Experience

The candidate should have prior experience in Retail operations

• Minimum work experience of 5 years+

• Proficiency in analytical skills, and should be comfortable with Excel &

Powerpoint

• Should have the right attitude and be able to navigate and build seamless

working relationships with other teams as this role needs collaboration with

other teams.

• Should be able to think on his / her own and drive initiatives and tasks with

minimum or no supervision. Should be a great self-starter
