Retail & Business Development Officer

Location: Hyderabad (Travel across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai & Kerala)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Retail & Business Development Officer to strengthen Chengavi's retail presence and expand our offline business. The role involves managing existing retail partners, ensuring excellent in-store execution, and developing new business opportunities through retail chains, Ayurvedic clinics, and premium ayurvedic spas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit all Chengavi retail stores every month to ensure proper stock availability, product visibility, tester availability, and merchandising standards.
  • Identify stock gaps, collect retailer feedback, and coordinate with internal teams for timely replenishment.
  • Build strong relationships with store managers and retail partners to improve sales and brand presence.
  • Identify and onboard new retail chains, premium beauty stores, Ayurvedic clinics, and wellness spas.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for retail staff and spa therapists.
  • Monitor competitor activities, promotions, and market trends.
  • Submit weekly reports with store visit observations, photographs, business opportunities, and action plans.

Candidate Profile

  • Any Graduate
  • 3-5 years of experience in beauty, skincare, cosmetics, Ayurveda, FMCG, or wellness industry.
  • Experience in retail sales, channel development, or business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel across South India.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and passionate about building brands.

Compensation

CTC: 6-8 LPA (Based on experience)
