- 8+ years of hands-on in writing UI & API automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java & RestAssured library
- Strong proficiency in Java , OOP principles and Design patterns
- Experience in AWS and setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in Git, BDD Cucumber, Postman , DB
- Exposure to AI tools in the industry

Mandatory skills
- At least 4 years hands on REST API automation experience - A must have primary skill.
- Strong experience in Selenium Java and creating framework from scratch .
- Strong experience in API automation using Rest Assured and BDD frameworks with Cucumber . Implementation, execution of automation scenarios, creating test scripts.
- Proficient knowledge in at least one programming language, JAVA is preferred.
- Good experience in Postman /Insomnia tool.
- Good experience in AWS and setting up DevOps CICD Pipelines with Jenkins and configuration management tools.
- Experience with version control system such as GitHub.
- Strong experience in API testing, json, and XML, as well as exposure to databases.
- Strong experience in test management, defects tracking, and automation tools.
- Strong experience in preparing automated Test data, Test Suite, and Test bed.
- Strong experience in preparing Test plans, Test cases, and Test scripts.
- Strong experience in detecting Bugs, classifying them based on severity, priority and logging them in the defect tracking tool, and managing the defect through the Bug life cycle.
- Strong Knowledge of designing Test cases, verifying, and validating REST API.
- Participates in Scrum and agile estimation taking into consideration product and process requirements.
- Good to Have - Apache JMeter, Gatling and Load runner for performance testing.
