Rotate through different medical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and others, as part of a structured training program.
Participate in patient care activities under the supervision of attending physicians, including conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing treatment plans.
Assist in surgical procedures and other invasive interventions, as appropriate to the specialty rotation.
Attend didactic lectures, conferences, and case presentations to enhance medical knowledge and clinical skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, and other residents, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, orders, and discharge summaries.
Participate in research activities, quality improvement projects, and scholarly endeavors as opportunities arise.
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and ethical conduct in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
