Research Chemist - Synthesis / API

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical synthesis routes for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) using various techniques such as organic chemistry, solid-state chemistry, and process development.
  
• Conduct experiments under GLP guidelines to validate new processes and improve existing ones.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer during API synthesis.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities and prioritize projects based on business needs.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-6 years of experience in API synthesis or a related field.
  
• MS/M.Sc(Science) degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
  
• Exposure inn handling hazardous chemicals safely according to industry standards.
