Research and Development Associate

At Aminu, we don t just create skincare we craft experiences that are clean, effective, and deeply sustainable. We re looking for an R&D Associate who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about beauty science to join our lab and help bring the future of skincare to life.

What will your role be:

1. Create and innovate skincare formulations true to Aminu s clean, effective, and sustainable beauty philosophy.

2. Conduct stability, compatibility, safety, and performance testing to ensure efficacy and regulatory compliance

3. Prepare and maintain all technical documentation, including COAs, MSDS, dossiers, SOPs, and lab records.

4. Address formulation and process challenges during lab, pilot, and bulk production runs.

5. Partner with production and QC teams for smooth scale-up, packaging compatibility, and product consistency.

6. Continuously research new actives, global happenings, and sustainable technologies to inspire future launches.

What we re looking for:

A background in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in skincare / personal care formulation.

Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, safety testing, and regulatory frameworks.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

A curious mind that loves experimenting, learning, and solving problems.

Passion for sustainability and skincare innovation.
