Senior Infotainment Validation Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Role Summary

• Lead infotainment validation across rig, bench and vehicle environments for premium OEM programs. Rapidly ramp up on complex platforms and independently drive validation, issue investigation, release readiness and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own end-to-end validation of infotainment features including HMI, Audio, Navigation, Connectivity, Bluetooth, CarPlay, Android Auto, Cameras, Diagnostics and Vehicle Settings. Execute smoke, sanity, integration, feature, regression and release testing. Support DVP execution, issue triage and release sign-off.

Technical Skills :

• Automotive infotainment systems, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN, UDS, DoIP, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, Wireshark, Vehicle Spy, JIRA, Jama/DOORS, Confluence, log analysis, ECU communication analysis, feature configuration, XML/ARXML understanding and software integration validation.

Root Cause Analysis Expertise :

• Demonstrated experience performing structured root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa), Fault Tree Analysis, Pareto Analysis, Trend Analysis, Failure Reproduction, Log Correlation, Defect Containment and Corrective Action methodologies. Ability to isolate software, hardware, network and configuration-related issues.

Validation Experience :

• Extensive rig-level, bench-level, HIL and vehicle-level validation experience. Ability to validate complete end-to-end customer journeys and production-intent software releases.

Leadership & Delivery :

• Provide technical leadership, mentor validation engineers, drive defect closure, support customer reviews and coordinate cross-functional teams including Systems, Software, HMI, Audio and Integration teams.
