Release Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Release Engineer to automate, build, and manage our deployment pipelines. You will bridge the gap between development and operations by ensuring reliable software delivery. Your primary focus will be managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and writing robust automation scripts.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code: Write, test, and deploy infrastructure components using Terraform.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts using Python or PowerShell to eliminate manual deployment steps.
• Release Management: Coordinate and execute software releases across development, staging, and production environments.
• Environment Provisioning: Automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve build failures, deployment bottlenecks, and environment inconsistencies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to optimize deployment workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Build/Configuration Management.
• IaC Expertise: Proficient in creating modular, scalable configurations using Terraform.
• Scripting Skills: Strong proficiency in Python or PowerShell for system automation and tool integration.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository management.
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux systems, Windows Server environments, or both.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Platforms: Experience managing resources in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Containers: Understanding of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Configuration Management: Exposure to tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
