Job Description

Sales & Revenue Management

  • • Achieve regional sales targets (primary & secondary) for toys -- GT segment.
  • • Develop and execute regional sales plans in line with company objectives.
  • • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance across territories.
  • • Ensure healthy primary--secondary sales balance.

Distribution & Channel Development

  • • Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributors across North India.
  • • Expand market reach in urban, semi-urban, and rural markets.
  • • Improve product availability and visibility at retail counters.
  • • Ensure effective stock management and distributor ROI.

Team Management & Leadership

  • • Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers (ASM), Sales Officers, and field teams.
  • • Set clear KPIs and review team performance regularly.
  • • Conduct market visits and joint working with field staff.
  • • Drive discipline, productivity, and sales execution excellence.

Trade Marketing & Promotions

  • • Plan and execute GT trade schemes, discounts, and retailer promotions.
  • • Coordinate with marketing team for POSM deployment and visibility drives.
  • • Monitor scheme effectiveness and competitor activities.
  • • Ensure proper implementation of promotional programs.

Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis

  • • Track competitor pricing, schemes, and new product launches.
  • • Provide regular market feedback to management.
  • • Identify new business opportunities and growth areas in the region.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • • Prepare regional sales forecasts and demand plans.
  • • Ensure timely reporting of sales, collections, and market activities.
  • • Coordinate with supply chain and finance for smooth order fulfillment and collections.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

  • • Strong experience in General Trade sales management.
  • • Proven leadership and distributor management skills.
  • • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • • Strong analytical and planning skills.
  • • Ability to travel extensively across the North region.

4. Additional Requirements

  • • Experience in toys, FMCG, or consumer products industry preferred.
  • • Strong understanding of North India GT market dynamics.
  • • Ability to handle pressure, targets, and fast-paced environments.
  • • Result-oriented and execution-focused mindset.
