We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our New Car Loan portfolio in the Bangalore region.

Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for New Car Loans will take ownership of the sales strategy and growth of our car loan business in the Bangalore region. You will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders in the open market, including car dealerships, auto manufacturers, and third-party partners. This role demands a leader with 10+ years of experience in sales, particularly within the NBFC sector, who has a deep understanding of car loan products and open market sales dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for the new car loan product in the Bangalore region, focusing on driving both volume and value growth.
    • Achieve and exceed regional sales targets by ensuring optimal lead conversion from partners, dealers, and the open market.
    • Actively monitor sales performance, manage the sales pipeline, and implement corrective actions to stay on track with targets.
  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and Executives.
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a performance-driven culture.
    • Ensure that the team has a solid understanding of the product offerings, market conditions, and sales processes to consistently hit targets.
  • Open Market and Channel Partner Development

    • Build and nurture relationships with car dealerships, auto manufacturers, third-party partners, and brokers in the open market.
    • Ensure that channel partners are well-aligned with company objectives and offer strong support to maximize lead generation.
    • Develop strategic tie-ups with new partners to expand the reach and visibility of our car loan offerings.
  • Customer Relationship & Satisfaction

    • Ensure that customer acquisition and retention strategies are effectively implemented across the region, delivering exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint.
    • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues, ensuring that both customer expectations and business outcomes are met.
    • Monitor customer feedback and improve the loan journey based on insights.
  • Market Analysis & Intelligence

    • Conduct in-depth market research to analyze competitor offerings, emerging trends, and customer preferences.
    • Provide actionable insights to management, ensuring that the company remains competitive and responsive to market changes.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory and policy changes in the NBFC space and implement necessary changes to product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Sales Reporting & Analytics

    • Regularly track, report, and analyze sales performance across various segments and product offerings.
    • Provide real-time insights into market conditions, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior.
    • Use data analytics to drive decisions and optimize sales processes.

Key Requirements

  • Education:

    • A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within an NBFC or similar financial institution.
    • Strong experience in new car loan sales, managing open market channels, and building strong business relationships.
    • A proven track record in achieving aggressive sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a team.
    • Deep knowledge of the NBFC landscape, including car loan products and financial market trends.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in complex or high-pressure situations.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
