Job Description
- The person needs to be self-driven and passionate about learning
- Initially, this role will assist the recording team in the following Responsibilities Equipment Setup & Maintenance Ensure all studio equipment (microphones, consoles, software, etc) is functioning correctly
- Set up, test, and adjust recording equipment for sessions
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Recording Session Management Prepare the studio for recording sessions
- Regulate volume levels and sound quality during recordings using control consoles
- Guide voice artists during sessions for optimal performance
- Audio Post-Production Edit and mix audio tracks (post-production)
- Separate instruments, vocals, and other sounds; combine them during mixing
- Translate analogue to digital sound and synchronise audio with visual media
- Duplication & Archiving Reproduce and duplicate sound recordings using editing and duplication equipment
- Maintain logs of recordings and manage the audio library
- Project Coordination Communicate with Project Manager and Language QC teams
- Provide regular updates on project status and ensure timely delivery
