Key Responsibilities

• Due Diligence & Title Verification: Investigating property history, examining title deeds, revenue records, and encumbrance certificates to ensure clear ownership.
• Contract Drafting & Vetting: Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating sale deeds, Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), lease agreements, and mortgage documents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all transactions and construction activities strictly adhere to local zoning rules, building bylaws, and industry regulations
• Registration & Liaisoning: Facilitating property registrations at the Sub-Registrar's office, handling Khata bifurcations, and managing municipal tax mutations.
• Dispute Resolution: Representing clients or employers in property disputes, partition suits, landlord-tenant issues, or illegal possession claims.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: A recognized bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) or a Master of Laws (LL.M.).
• Experience: Varies widely, requiring anywhere from 1-2 years for Junior Associates up to 4-5 years for Senior Counsel or In-House Legal Managers.
• Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of property law, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and top-tier legal drafting capabilities.
