READER

As a Reader in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at JKKN College of Dental and Hospital, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lectures, leading research projects, and contributing to the academic community. You will work collaboratively with other faculty members to support the colleges vision and mission statements, and promote the institution as a leading global innovative solutions provider for the ever-changing needs of the society.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lectures on oral and maxillofacial surgery to students in various programs.
• Design and lead research projects in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the departments curriculum.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students in the department.
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and deliver interdisciplinary courses.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery and incorporate them into teaching and research activities.

Qualifications:

• Post graduate degree (M.D.S)in oral and maxillofacial surgery or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of teaching experience at the university level.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-quality lectures in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Strong research background in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Experience in designing and leading research projects in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaborations is desirable.
