Job Description
Position Purpose :
The role is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end projects while driving UX strategy and execution for digital banking products. The similar will ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences, while fostering design excellence and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities :
- Define and drive the UX vision, design strategy, and experience principles aligned with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Partner with senior Product, Technology, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to embed UX early in product and platform decisions.
- Own end to end UX delivery across multiple digital initiatives, including mobile apps, web platforms, and internal tools.
- Set priorities, review design outputs, and ensure high quality, timely delivery across concurrent projects.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, interaction flows, visual designs, and detailed design specifications.
- Establish, maintain, and scale design systems, UI libraries, icon sets, accessibility standards, and brand aligned design guidelines.
- Ensure UX consistency, usability, and accessibility compliance across all digital touchpoints.
- Lead and govern user research initiatives, including usability testing, journey validation, heuristic evaluations, and feedback analysis.
- Present UX vision, roadmaps, and outcomes to senior leadership, effectively defending design decisions using data and insights.
- Act as the UX advocate across the organization by collaborating with Branding, Marketing, and external partners, reviewing agency deliverables, and supporting digital branding, campaigns, and motion design initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Candidates from other streams must possess a recognized Diploma or Certification in Design.
Work Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design with proven experience leading and managing design teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic UX thinking, team-led outcomes, and complex product design.
- Hands-on expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Experience defining and scaling design systems and interaction standards.
- Ability to create or review motion design, animations, loaders, GIFs, and micro-interactions.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
