Job Description
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test (including performance tests), and deployment processes, leveraging tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
Ensure efficient feedback to stakeholders through automated reporting systems and integration with notification tools like Microsoft Teams
Manage non-prod/test servers to ensure availability and rapid recovery from disruptions
Propose and develop integration solutions between tools to automate manual processes and improve productivity (e
g
, GIT-Jira)
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps solutions and practices, including joint sprint planning and troubleshooting sessions
Work on version control systems (like Git) and manage branching strategies, code review processes, and repository maintenance
Propose and implement branching strategies by collaborating with R&D teams
Manage and configure R&Ds AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in a cost-effective manner
Setup automated system and application monitoring and logging to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure, applications, and databases for improved performance and cost efficiency
Setup synthetic monitoring to assess real-time performance of applications
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker/Kubernetes to deploy and manage builds
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and practices in DevOps to continually improve our processes and tools
Prepare and maintain documentation to meet or exceed the organizations quality standards
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
12+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc
4+ years of proven experience in AWS
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (like Docker)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
Proficient in scripting and automation (like Python, PowerShell)
Knowledge of version control systems (like Git) and experience in branching and merging strategies
Understanding of security best practices
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum model
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience working with both Windows and Linux-based systems
Ability to work independently as well as with globally distributed and remote teams
Excellent written/verbal communication and relationship-building skills
